Established in 2002, Ignite Creative is an energetic, professional design studio based in Sydney
on the Northern Beaches.

Ignite Creative was formed in response to a growing need in the marketplace for a smaller
style of design stuido with a more personalised service providing high quality graphic design at reasonable rates.

Bringing together some talented creative minds with extensive experience in print and web design, our portfolio covers a wide range of graphic communications including: Annual Reports, Prospectus, Brochures, Newsletters, Invitations, Corporate ID, Catalogues, Direct Mail, Exhibition Banners, Website design and Presentations.

With over 20 years experience in the graphics industry, Karen Creed heads ignite as the Creative Director. Karen started her career in 1988 by completing a three year Bachelor of Arts in Design at the University of Western Sydney. After finishing her degree, she then went on to work as a print-based designer for a broad spectrum of design studios and advertising agencies including BKM Ogilvy & Mather, HMA George Patterson and the Amnesia Group. Karen’s extensive
experience has taken her overseas to work as a designer in Canada for a year and Japan
on the Mazda RX8 press kit.

Karen has worked with a wide range of clients including: Canadian Tourism Commission, Travel Alberta, Canon, Active Tree Services, D'Angelo Wines, Tourism British Columbia, United Airlines, Toga Group, Ski Canada, Funktionality, Datgel, Canadian Australian Chamber of Commerce, Commonwealth Bank, Nova FM, Davnet, Coca-Cola, Morgan & Banks, DACG, Text Pacific Publishing, The Amnesia Group, Capital Finance, AMP, Mazda, Ministry of Sound, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, XBOX and American Express. Karen also regularly undertakes charity work for Surf Life Saving Australia and several organisations.
